Bodylanguage
Bodylanguage is an interactive audiovisual installation created for RHIANNIN, where music, movement, light, and technology merge into one immersive experience. At the heart of the setup are four mobile LED screens that visually respond to RHIANNIN’s voice, gestures, and the band’s live drums.
Using depth cameras and hand gestures, she controls real-time visuals and even plays her own voice through a custom-built “human theremin.” Each performance is unique, with movement, color, and sound constantly influencing one another. The result is an intense, physical, and deeply expressive show where the body becomes an instrument and technology is seamlessly woven into the artistic expression.
I was the project manager for this project, translating early-stage, abstract ideas into a clear concept and concrete project plan. I also developed the human theremin, a custom system that allows RHIANNIN to control harmonies and vocal textures through intuitive hand gestures.
