Gary

Gary is an interactive lighting installation designed for networking events, enabling participants to connect with each other without using business cards. Instead, connections are formed through a more enjoyable, interactive, and intimate experience. Using capacitive sensing, participants who wish to connect can interact directly with the installation. First, they scan their visitor badge, and then physically bring the interactive lights closer to each other until their lights merges together. This action creates a new connection within the visualised network and initiates data transfer through a personalised email containing their contact details. Gary enhances the networking experience by providing an engaging interaction, thereby making networking less awkward and more fun.
